A foot-candle is a form of measurement that is commonly used to determine sufficient lighting levels for our LED lighting projects. One foot-candle can stand for the amount of one lumen per square foot or about 10.764 lux. Being that it isn't particularly easy to measure the lighting levels above ±10%, it is acceptable to consider one foot-candle as 10lux.
